A day of tourism in Lanzarote
Today was sun shining and warm; we took a chance to visit the south part of the island by renting a car.
The two highlights of the day were the vulcano and the wine areas, which in fact somehow overlap, as the grapes are cultivated in the lava soil, protected by walls of lava stones.
We spent most of the afternoon (!!!) tasting wine produced in this very peculiar (and hard) way by visiting several “bodega”. At the end of the day both we and our wine “cellar” enjoyed a new international taste!
Buongiorno Sergio! Ah, the tour started! Hope you enjoy the Canaries! 🙂 I will be on Tenerife again in July 2017 a bit late to meet there! 😉
Amazing, Sergio!
You are progressing very well. Thanks to your blog, I am also enjoying the sailing.
Safe journey!
